I’ve never been a perfectionist, especially when it comes to photography.
If I have a great shot.
or – When I have a great shot.
The lighting was good, the horses were standing quietly and I got the shot. I convinced myself that I could do it, recreate that moment, if I wanted to. I’ve never been able to recreate that picture or any moment in my photographs.
They are unique.
I have thought about how I captured an image and trying to reproduce it never seems to work out. The weather, the situation, how you are feeling on that day and the person or animal that you are taking a picute of.
It can’t be duplicated.
Over time, I realized that the imperfection was part of the photo’s charm. It reminded me that life is full of imperfections, and that’s what makes it beautiful. We can’t always control everything, and sometimes the most memorable moments are the ones that aren’t perfect.
So, the next time you’re chasing the perfect shot, remember that it’s okay to embrace imperfections. Cherish the unique moments and the memories they create. After all, life is too short to dwell on the small things.
