What started as a personal exploration of place and history evolved into a deeper photographic inquiry into the human relationship with nature, ownership, and garbage.
This project has come about as a reflection of ourselves as we take ownership of the land and public places and make them our own. Just as someone would leave a plate on the table in their own home they would be more likely to help clear the table and “clean up” at a friend’s home when they are visiting.
